About the Client
Animal Findr is an online animal marketplace connecting buyers and sellers across the US. Founded by a horse rancher who saw a gap in the market, the platform grew to support dogs, cats, goats, pigs, horses, and more.
The Challenge
No online platform existed for ranchers and farmers to buy/sell animals locally or regionally. The founder needed a mobile-first solution reaching users across multiple states, with tools tailored specifically to the agricultural community.
Our Solution
We built a cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android with:
- Geolocation-based listings showing animals within user-defined radius (up to 500+ miles)
- In-app direct messaging between buyers and sellers without sharing personal contact info
- Categorical browsing by animal type
Results
Animal Findr launched on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, earning positive reviews on both platforms. Users across the United States use it daily to discover animals in their area, and it's grown into a trusted tool for the agricultural and pet communities.
